- Associate’s degree or higher, relevant certificate
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Coordinate, support, and collaborate with distributors and OnPoint team members for on-site installations with our customers.
- Represents OnPoint during technology-enabled procedures to provide technical assistance.
- Recruit and train new surgeon users at installation sites.
- Maintain system hardware and software to maximize system performance.
- Installs software and hardware upgrades.
- Performs system preventative maintenance.
- Provides telephone clinical support to customers.
- Acts as the primary OnPoint customer liaison for repair and technical support issues.
- Provides timely information to the OnPoint leadership team regarding customer concerns, issues, and market opportunities.
- Reports necessary complaints and partners with leadership to ensure full resolution.
- Educates and trains physicians and hospital personnel – OR, Radiology, Central Sterile Processing, Biomedical and Information Technologies – on technical matters relating to OnPoint Technology.
- Provides a clinical resource for surgeons, clinicians and others being trained.
- Participates in in-house sponsored customer training at designated sites for both internal and external partners.
- Provides training and resources for hospital staff and distributor partners to enable them to conduct training for their personnel (train the trainer).
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed.
- Provide input on new product development based on in-field experience.
Physical Job Requirements
- Required to function using universal healthcare precautions to minimize exposure to infectious disease and radiation.
- Required to maintain updated vendor credentialing with hospitals.
- Ability to serve as the primary resource for scheduled and unscheduled clinical events, periodically required to work weekends, evenings, and nights.
- Travel up to 80% with overnight stays possible.
- Ability to work efficiently and autonomously with little direction when outside of clinical events.
- Ability to wear a 7-9 lbs. protective lead apron for extended periods of time in the operating room.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 8+ hours per day.
- Ability to bend/ stoop, squat, and balance frequently.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus in relation to travel and operating a personal computer.
- Ability to wear and use augmented reality headsets.
Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy.
